I'll gently guide you every step of the way with natural posing, movement prompts, and easy direction so you never have to wonder what to do. My goal is to create a space where you can simply be yourself while I capture the genuine moments, connections, and emotions that make your family's story uniquely yours.

Consultation & PREP GUIDE

Picture time
The big day is here! We'll meet, chat, and take a few moments to connect before we get started. From there, we'll simply explore, laugh, and create together. I'll gently guide you with natural poses and prompts while also leaving plenty of room for genuine moments to unfold.
04.
Delivering photos
In two to three weeks, you will receive your edited pictures in a proof gallery. You will then have up to 30 days to choose your images!

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
I'm so glad you asked! If this is your first professional photo session, there's no need to worry—I'll guide you through the entire experience.
From choosing the best location and timing to posing and natural prompts during the session, I'll take care of the details so you can simply relax and enjoy the moment.
One of the best ways to help me create a session that's perfect for you is by filling out my client questionnaire. Your answers give me a better understanding of your family, personalities, preferences, and what you're hoping to capture, allowing me to tailor the session to your needs.
On the day of your session, you don't have to know how to pose or what to do—that's my job! I'll guide you every step of the way with simple direction and natural interactions, so your photos feel genuine and reflect who you are. My goal is to make the experience fun, relaxed, and stress-free while creating beautiful images you'll love for years to come.
What should I wear?
My session prep guides, available on my website, include wardrobe tips and styling suggestions to help you feel confident and prepared. I'm also happy to review your outfit choices—just send me photos of your options along with any questions you have, and I'll be glad to help!
How many pictures will I receive?
This depends on the type of session you book. Limited Edition and Mini Sessions include a set number of digital images as part of the package.
For all full-length sessions, the session fee covers your time, planning, and the photography experience. After your gallery is delivered, you'll have the opportunity to purchase individual digital images or one of my digital image collections, allowing you to choose the option that best fits your needs.
Are you available outside of the Raleigh area?
If my schedule allows, I'm happy to travel outside the Raleigh area for sessions when the circumstances are the right fit. If you're interested in a session beyond my typical service area, please reach out with your preferred date, location, and session type, and we can discuss the details!
Do you do engagements and weddings?
To provide the best possible experience and create the highest-quality images for my clients, I've chosen to specialize in photographing growing families. From maternity and newborn sessions to milestones, first birthdays, and family portraits, I'm passionate about documenting each stage of your family's story.
While I no longer photograph engagements and weddings, I'm always happy to recommend talented photographers who specialize in those celebrations.
